IFS Cloud Developer

Overview

We’re looking for an experienced IFS Cloud Developer who can take ownership of designing, building, and enhancing solutions within the IFS Cloud ecosystem. This role suits someone who enjoys problem-solving, collaborating with stakeholders, and turning business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain customisations, integrations, and extensions within IFS Cloud (Apps 10 / Cloud versions).
Work closely with business analysts and process owners to understand functional requirements and translate them into technical designs.
Build and optimise lobbies, reports, workflows, projections, and custom events.
Design and implement integrations using IFS Connect, REST APIs, and other middleware tools.
Support upgrades, patches, and configuration changes while ensuring system stability.
Troubleshoot technical issues and provide ongoing support across IFS environments.
Participate in code reviews, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure all developments follow best practices and align with IFS standards.

Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience with IFS Cloud, Applications 10, or later versions.
Proficiency in PL/SQL, Aurena, Java, Crystal Reports, or other reporting tools.
Understanding of IFS technical architecture, including projections, lobbies, and data models.
Experience integrating IFS with external systems via REST/SOAP APIs or IFS Connect.
Solid grasp of software development principles, version control, and testing.
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Nice-to-Have

Experience in industries such as manufacturing, aerospace, utilities, or service management.
Knowledge of DevOps tools, cloud environments, or CI/CD pipelines.
Exposure to IFS upgrade projects or new module implementations.
